Gorham
We take pride in sponsoring our own grant programs for local businesses and a Revolving Loan Fund program to eligible businesses. These programs demonstrate our commitment to supporting and growing our local business community.
- Local grant program: Providing matching grant funding for local businesses in the areas of façade improvement, energy efficiency, and capital expenditures.
- Revolving Loan Fund: One of our best tools to attract, retain and help grow local businesses. Funding available up to $150,000 on fixed rates and flexible terms.

- Dirigo Business Incentive: Maine state tax credits for capital investments and working training investments in certain business sectors.
- Business Equipment Tax: Receive up to a 100% tax exemption from personal property taxes on your eligible business equipment.

FAME: FAME offers a wide array of business assistance programs, ranging from traditional loan insurance programs for both small and larger businesses, to investment tax credits. Greater Portland Council of Governments (GPCOG): Our region’s Economic Development District, bringing state and federal funding to communities through grant and loan programs.
CEI Maine: A nonprofit, community development financial institution (CDFI) providing small business loans and business advising services for targeted industries and populations.
Roux Institute: An exciting new tech talent and innovation hub from Northeaster University, supporting education, research and entrepreneurship through funding, collaboration and partnership.
