Industrial Park Expansion

Industrial Park Expansion

Come grow with us!!

In Greater Portland, it continues to be a challenge of finding vacant industrial space to lease or buy.  The Town of Gorham is expanding its commercial and industrial space to offer more opportunities for new and thriving businesses to locate here.  In 2020, the Town of Gorham purchased 141 acres of vacant land adjacent to the existing Gorham Industrial Park and we are moving forward with a plan to convert the land into as many as 17 commercial lots zoned for industrial use.

  • Each lot will be connected to public utilities, including natural gas, and be suitable for buildings ranging from 10,000 to 50,000 square feet or more. Lots can be combined to suit larger development.
  • All necessary state permits for buildings and impervious area will be in place by the time they are sold.
  • These lots are centrally located in Gorham with easy access to major highways and roads. Road construction on site is expected to begin in early 2022.

The Town of Gorham has a proven history of supporting a wide range of industry sectors from manufacturing and telecommunications to food production and breweries.  We are excited to engage with industry leaders and developers to attract businesses to Gorham.
